Minister of climate to Zero Emission Regional Aviation Conference

Norwegian Minister of Climate and Environment, Mr. Espen Barth Eide, gives a speech during Green Aviation Norway’s first interdisciplinary international conference on regional zero-emission aviation.

Join the «Zero Emission Regional Aviation Conference – Mobilizing the full ecosystem» in Oslo on October 18. The aim of the conference is to bring together representatives from the entire aviation ecosystem, who can all contribute to speeding up the green shift in this sector.

«At the conference, we want to identify important areas to be prioritised in the short term and uncover how we can work together to develop, test and introduce new solutions. The goal is to achieve a faster transition to emission-free aviation», says Trond Bakken, Marketing Director for EU Research in SINTEF and one of the initiators behind the green aviation programme Green Aviation Norway.

Minister of Climate and Environment Espen Barth Eide will give a speech at the conference, in addition to other national and international speakers whom are all important to realising the green shift in aviation.

The programme will vary between speeches, panel debates and active participation from the audience. The conference is free of charge and will be held at Old Deichmanske library at Arne Garborgs Plass 4.
